IN HOC SIGNO VINCES. History of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in signs and symbols

The military symbols of Ukraine, which have emerged from princely times to the turbulent present, convey all the majestic victories and tragic defeats, heroic achievements, high ideals and unbreakable principles of the Ukrainian warrior. The symbols of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine intertwine the victories and bloody deeds of chivalry of the distant past with the heroic achievements of modern warriors. The new challenges that faced the Ukrainian army and society in general after the beginning of Moscow’s aggression led to the rapid purification of military symbols from foreign and hostile meanings and traditions.

The work “IN HOC SIGNO VINCES. History of the units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in signs and symbols” presents the current symbols of the units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In each of these symbols, history and the present are inextricably intertwined, which creates a unique feature of modern military symbolism of Ukraine.
